Each time I tell the story of how The Linen Sisters started, I realize how grateful I am that I can tell it again. Tess and I are constantly in amazement of our fortune to be able to do something that we enjoy so much.

The Linen Sisters actually started out with three friends spending the weekend stitching. We had previously gone to other shop-sponsored retreats and enjoyed ourselves, and knew we needed something like that in our area of Oklahoma City. Initially, we did not have inventory to sell, so we invited other shops to sell items to us on a consignment basis; however, the enthusiasm wasn't there. Therefore, we knew we had to do something else, which involved registering our name and buying inventory. Thus, in 1997, The Linen Sisters was established.

Since our inception, we have specialized in weekend retreats twice a year at the Hardt Lodge approximately 45 minutes west of Oklahoma City. We currently have a physical location at 9309 N. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. (Casady Square at Pennsylvania and Britton)
